Sharvesh Deviprasath

Texas Chapter President/Head Coach (Advanced/Intermediate)

Sharvesh is our Head of Operations for the Texas Chapter. He is a FIDE Master with a peak FIDE Rating of 2316 and peak USCF Rating of 2445. He was the 2023 High School National Co-Champion, and represented the United States at the 2022 World Youth Chess Championships U16 Division in Romania. He is ranked #3 in the USA for his age group, and is the #2 Junior in Texas. He has also represented Texas twice at the Denker Tournament of State Champions.

Rohun Trakru

Texas Chapter Vice President/Coach (Advanced/Intermediate)

Rohun is the Vice President of our Texas Chapter and a National Master from Brownsville, Texas. He is a 5-time Texas State Champion, a 10-time regional champion, a North American Youth Chess Championships gold medalist, a 3 time World Youth Chess Championship qualifier (with a top 10 finish representing the United States), a Texas representative for the Barber Tournament of Middle School State Champions, and a FIDE Candidate Master.

Preetham Aradhyula

Coach (Beginner)

Preetham is a Individual State Finalist in the state of Texas, and has been playing chess for 7 years as a part of his school team and as a competitive player. His USCF rating has increased over 100 points in the past year, and he has helped lead his team in Coppell, Texas to top places at Scholastic National Competitions multiple times, most recently at the at the 2023 High School National Scholastics

Ganesh kumarappan

Coach (Advanced/Intermediate)

Ganesh is an expert-level player who has been playing chess for 13 years. He has placed top two at several Texas Scholastic State Championships and is the current Texas Blitz and Bughouse Champion. He was invited to the Western Invitational Chess Camp, and has placed highly at several Scholastic National Championships.
