I started The Chess Effect in 2020 with two students and a mission. Now, almost 4 years later, we’ve expanded to a team of over 25 coaches across chapters in Arizona and Texas, serving hundreds of members through free lessons and fundraiser tournaments. Teaching as a coach has helped me share the lessons I’ve learned with the next generation of chess players, and it’s by far the most fulfilling use of my time.
